The radio controlled slope mower SPIDER was designed for the maintenance of uneven terrain with slopes of up to 40 degrees. It is invaluable especially during the maintenance of areas surrounding roads, power stations, airports or mountain hotels, downhill runs, banks and parks.
The SPIDER mower can be equipped with ecological fillings. It is thus suitable for the maintenance of areas surrounding water reservoirs, rivers, waterworks and dams.
The environment-friendliness of the machine is emphasized by its low weight as most of its parts are built of light and noble alloys. The 4-wheel drive system allows the use of the mower in wetlands and in protected natural protected areas.

System description:
The SPIDER slope mower radio control range is 100 meters.
The system consists of:
Remote control with control elements
Receiver with the power part
Remote control - transmitter
The ergonomic remote control contains control elements allowing to:
start and switch off the engine
preset the travelling speed range (turtle/rabbit)
engaged and disengage the mowing device
adjust the height of cut
change the travelling speed and direction
steer wheels (360°)
shut down the whole system in emergency
Powerful remote control battery ensures a stand-by period of up to 20 hours. (The machine is supplied with an extra battery and a car charger. The charging time is 2,5 hours)
Receiver and the power part of the radio control
Consists of:

servomotors controlling the direction, travelling speed and gas
linear electric motors for the height of cut adjustment
electromagnetic clutch and mowing device

System safety:
The microprocessor-operated radio control system complies with European standards and high safety criteria. Operator’s failure to observe instructions or the loss of signal due to the excess of the safe distance are evaluated as a critical state by the microprocessor, which consequently shuts down the whole system.

Main advantages "Dance step"
The patent-protected design of the machine travel ensures excellent properties and stability even when changing driving directions on a steep slope. In areas with rapidly changing slopes and in places where other machines can hardly move, the slope mower SPIDER and its original “dance step” are absolutely unsurpassable.

Mowing device
Quality blade from high-grade steel and the robust structure of its attachment allow the maintenance of areas with wild growth of up to 5 cm in diameter. The mowing space was designed even for the mowing of wet grass, which enables the machine to be used during rain or dew.
The remote-controlled central adjustment of the height of cut simplifies the use of the mower when passing from one type of growth / surface to another. The height of cut can thus operatively and effectively adjusted according to the condition of the mowed area from 6 to 11 cm or from 3 to 8 cm (depending on the user option).
The blade is put in motion through an electromagnetic clutch, which is also controlled by commands from the remote control.
